Rebuild my home

Hey, my names Elvin. Yesterday I watched my home get destroyed by Ida’s flooding. It happened so quick but I was able to I grab my cat and mementos of my late mother. If you know me, you know my apartment was constantly changing and evolving. I spent countless hours finding furniture, moving things around til it all felt perfect - it’s something that made me happy. But last night I watched everything I owned (clothes, furniture, art) floating in water and I’m very heartbroken. The water went up to about 4 feet high, damaging more parts of the house. My sister and I are the home owners and affording the expenses right now feels impossible. I know I’m not the only one affected in NY/Nj but any bit helps. I appreciate everyone reading this and supporting.
