On June 26, 2025, our beloved father and grandfather, Frank G. Mangiacapra, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT, a dedicated state employee, and a talented drummer who brought joy to so many through music and friendship. He worked for the State of Connecticut for many years, first as a toll supervisor and later in health and social services, where he built lasting relationships with colleagues and community members alike.
To know Frank was to know warmth, humor, and generosity. He was a devoted husband to our late mother, Lynn, who passed away in 1998, and a proud father and grandfather. He loved Italian food, sports, especially horse racing, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are raising funds to help cover the costs of his funeral and associated expenses. Any support — whether through donations or simply sharing this page — means the world to us. Every little bit helps ease the burden during this emotional time.
Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and for honoring the memory of a man who was truly loved by all who knew him.
With love and gratitude,
Joseph, Frank, and the Mangiacapra Family
