Help us Survive in Gaza
Donation protected
Welcome,
I am sharing with you a story from beloved Gaza, one among two million true stories. My name is Baraa Kamel, an 18-year-old girl born in Rafah, Gaza. I had hoped to achieve some of my dreams, but the brutal occupation has made that impossible. My education was disrupted when part of our 6-story house was destroyed, leading to our displacement.
We have faced hardship and pain, coming to realize that we are under siege and lacking the essentials for a decent life. The bombing and starvation have made surviving a luxury. We have endured torture and humiliation, navigating through the grim realities of war, cold, and fear. Writing my story is just the beginning; the war continues, and with it, new doors to suffering open. We hold onto our hope in God that the war will end as soon as possible.
I have asked a friend of mine from Egypt who is currently living in Germany to create this fundraiser for us. We are trying to raise funds to enable the nine of us—my mom, dad, my four sisters, two brothers, and myself—to evacuate to Egypt. If we fail to evacuate, the funds will nonetheless assist us in surviving here in Gaza.
Here is the breakdown of the funds we are trying to raise:
- Evacuation costs amount to $1,200 per person for eight family members.
- An additional $5,000 is needed for the father's evacuation due to special circumstances.
- If we remain in Gaza, the funds will be allocated towards securing shelter, food, and medical supplies to sustain us through these trying times.
I am trying to spread the word about a link that could enable me and my family to leave Gaza for safety. Please, if you have the means, contribute by donating or sharing the link. Please do not overlook this plea, my dears
