Funeral Expenses for Stacey
Donation protected
Stacey Renee Chamberlain lost her battle with cancer on the morning of October 12, 2020. Stacey was a mother, daughter, sister, niece, & a friend to many. Stacey leaves behind her fiancé & two small sons, ages 5 & 2. She dedicated her life to her little family & enjoyed the time spent with them.
In February 2020, Stacey was diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer. The first prognosis was curable. She under went surgery March 25th to remove a portion of her tongue & lymph nodes in her neck. She started her 1st round of chemotherapy & radiation April 28th, 2020. This was an 8 week treatment. On June 25th she finished her first round of chemotherapy & radiation. She was so happy when her time came & she got to ring the bell at the end of that round of chemotherapy.
It was at her 30 day post check up, on July 17th she learned that the tumors had spread to her lungs & bloodstream. Stacey was beyond devastated. The prognosis was terminal but with hope, the coming treatments could prolong her life to up to 2 years. This is when the doctors prescribed her a more aggressive chemotherapy treatment. This chemotherapy started on July 30th & lasted 8 weeks long with 3 treatments. On October 1st Stacey completed her last chemotherapy & was due to start her immunotherapy treatment 2 weeks from then. She passed away before she had a chance to start her immunotherapy treatment.
Even though her final prognosis was terminal, Stacey’s family is devastated by this sudden loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. She had no life insurance. I would like to take the burden off the family & help give her the memorial service she wanted, to honor her last wishes and allow us to say our final goodbyes.
I am asking for donations to help cover the cost of Stacey’s funeral. Any extra funds collected will go to her fiancé & her precious little boys. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help the family during this difficult time. Its understandable if you are not able to donate at this time, but I will ask that you please share her Go Fund Me Link with your friends & family.
Thank you & God Bless.
