Hi, my name is Stephanie and my dog, Remi is my 7-year-old mountain cur mix. She’s a fun-loving, playful sweetheart who loves holding socks and cat toys in her mouth, and absolutely loves just sitting in the backyard soaking up the sun. She’s always brought joy to our home.
Recently, Remi started having issues with straining to urinate, and after an ultrasound, we learned she has a cyst near her bladder and a mass. The next step is an exploratory laparotomy to find out more and hopefully remove the mass that is compressing her urethra. This surgery will not only prolong her life but also provide her with an improved quality of life. Anyone who has a pet knows they are more than just a pet; they are your family, and if you love your family, you are willing to do anything to help them and prevent suffering.
There is, of course, a financial strain associated with surgery. Even the smallest donation helps ease the financial strain and gives Remi the chance of a longer, enjoyable life.
