Alfredo, affectionately known as Alfy by many who held him close to their hearts, has taken his rest in heaven at the young age of 33. He grappled with a challenging disease, but his spirit, strength, and love for others never wavered.

As his sister, Xiadani, beautifully put it:

"Over the last few days, we had the privilege of connecting with many of Alfredo's friends and coworkers. It became abundantly clear that the love and admiration we felt for him wasn't just a family bias. He was genuinely a one-of-a-kind soul. A selfless brother, a doting son, and a friend who made everyone feel safe, heard, and most importantly, loved. Alfy had a gift – he made sure everyone was fed and felt cherished. His generosity wasn't limited to those he knew personally; even in his workspace, he was known to change lives, be it through a heartwarming meal or a life-altering loan."

Despite his struggles, Alfredo's love and care for others remained his guiding light. If he were with us today, he'd urge everyone to embrace life with zeal, to seek help when faced with mental health challenges, and to find healthier coping mechanisms than turning to substances. His life's journey, right up to his final moments, was a testament to God's love and grace.

In his passing, Alfy continues his legacy of giving by donating his organs, ensuring that others receive the gift of life. His faith was unwavering. He knew God from a tender age, and his reconciliation this year fills our hearts with peace. We're comforted knowing he's watching over us, his infectious, silly smile brighter than ever.

Each of us holds a piece of Alfy's heart, a testament to his impactful life. With his sudden departure, our family is faced with substantial medical bills from his time in the hospital and forthcoming funeral expenses.
