Who? Alyssa Pacheco - For those of you that don't know her, Alyssa is one of the hardest working young women out there since the age of 16. She is one of the most selfless human beings who is always there to listen and empathize, to pick you up and help you out.  She just turned 25 this month. Her parents and only sister all live out of state. In California, she has built a family and a network all on her own through her hard-work and she has overcome any struggle that has stood in her way - from earning a bachelor's degree at UCR to venturing out to work on her own.


What Happened? On July 26th, at around 3:30/4 PM, Alyssa went on the back of a motorcycle enjoying the first weekend off she's had in a long time. From what she remembers, a vehicle hit her and the motorcycle driver (keeping his name private) on the San Bernardino Freeway where they collided with the center divider.

Update - July 27th: Her vitals are stable and she is thankfully responsive and awake. Currently, Alyssa will have surgeries to help her body heal. She has severe road rash along her body, a fractured pelvic bone, jaw, and nose.
