FF Envision: Dom's Peace of Mind

Dominick Petrillo is an avid fan of football. Several years ago, he began losing his vision as a result of diabetes. Over that time, his vision has regressed to the point of complete legal blindness. Dom's enthusiasm for life, and his passion for football, has never wavered despite of any his hardships. In fact, he is an accomplished writer, and one of the top annual fantasy football rankers in the industry. His ability to now 'hear' the game is truly remarkable. He is often the source of breaking news, as well as sharing jokes, even at his own expense. It was this casual and happy go lucky attitude that he broke the news today of yet another medical setback. As a result of the diabetes, Dom's kidneys are also now failing, and he will immediately begin dialysis and patiently wait on a donor recipient list. 

While I am honored and privileged to have him write for us at ExpandTheBoxscore.com, we are in no position to offer him a full time salary, let alone medical benefits. In recent years he has had multiple conversations and talks with a few NFL organizations about a position with their teams, but nothing has materialized to date. Dominick does not have medical insurance beyond Medicare, and will be struggling to make ends meet, as well as possibly not being able to afford what Medicare does not cover. 

Enough is enough! This is a man who has inspired too many, for us to let him down when he could use our help. Dom goes by the twitter handle @EnvisionFF, and I would ask you to Envision yourself helping provide Dom with some peace of mind for once in this past decade of obstacles. We are not sure how much the medical expenses will ultimately accrue, so we set the goal to be something to give him some cushion for now. A little from a lot can make all of the difference in the world, so please take a minute to consider doing something good today.
