Help Fetty Recover From Pitbull Attack

Hello, my name is Alyanna. On July 1st, my little fur baby was on a walk in our current neighborhood. As he was walking past a gate, a pitbull darted from the back of the house, to the gate, able to grab Fettys right arm through under the gate. He held Fetty in his mouth and was also shaking him like a toy. He did not let go until some one who resides in the building came out, which also did not help.

The police were called, but we immediately had to take Fetty to the emergency room. He was first diagnosed with needing sutures as there was a hole under his armpit and needing X-rays. Once getting ready for sutures, they notified us that he not only needed sutures but had a hole in his chest from the bite and had broken through two of his ribs.

This is his heartbeat pumping out his chest.

He is currently in critical care and went into surgery last night. If you all have pets you know how costly this situation is and can get. The owner has not reached out and the person who came out the building did not offer assistance or anything in that manner. He can not come home for 2-3 days. Fetty is loved by many and it’s imperative we do all that we can for him. Anything is appreciated.
