We are turning this year's

Festival of Quilts ~ Bay de Verde, Grates Cove, Red Head Cove

into a lifeline for our heroes on the front lines.

When we cancelled the Festival we received so many messages and calls about ways to help from wonderful generous people in the quilting, festival and community at large.

In the throws of this fire, a GoFundMe is the best and fastest way to get much needed support to the people who need it.

Right now, families are displaced. Homes and livelihoods are at risk. First responders—firefighters, paramedics, and volunteers—are working around the clock, putting themselves in harm’s way to protect us all.

They need our support.

Your generous donations will be dispersed to community organizations, licensed food providers, and to the Fire Department. We hear there is also a need for expensive breathing puffers for front line responders so we hope to provide some of those.

ALL FUNDS RAISED will go to the Relief Fund.

This year, instead of gathering under one roof to admire quilts, let’s come together to wrap the Bay de Verde Peninsula in the warmth and care those quilts represent.
