Fertility and Medical Expenses for The Langs
Donation protected
**UPDATE: only $1,000 is needed by October 1st to start fertility treatment!!
Hello, my name is Alyssa and I am Cody’s little sister. As some of you might know, Taylor had surgery in August and was diagnosed with stage 4 Endometriosis. The endometriosis has attached itself to other organs, causing a significant amount of pain and it has the possibility to continue to spread if not treated quickly. With how severe her Endometriosis is, they are recommending for Taylor & Cody to start their fertility journey with doctors at OSU as soon as possible so they can fulfill their dreams of becoming parents and then work on pain management/treatment for Taylor. If the fertility treatment is not successful in the first 3 attempts, Taylor will undergo a second surgery with an Endometriosis specialist. Taylor will also be meeting with a GI surgeon due to the significant impact the Endometriosis has had on her intestines. Within the last year, Taylor has seen numerous doctors & specialists, and has had many ER trips due to the severe pain and reoccurring ovarian cysts. Medical bills a lone are a significant burden and they will ultimately determine to how many rounds of fertility they can comfortably afford. While Taylor & Cody have been dealing with trips to the ER, pain, and surgery, they have continued to work full-time. Taylor as a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator and Cody as a Diesel Mechanic. Even on days they have had ER trips or received bad news from doctors, they both have continued to help those who have needed it. Becoming parents, and for Taylor to be pain free is something Taylor & Cody want so badly. If you are able to financially contribute, it is greatly appreciated but most importantly, please keep Taylor & Cody in your prayers. Send them all of the positivity as they begin this difficult journey.
