Hello-
This gofundme page is for the Ferrufino family. Sadly, on June 16, 2018, Franklin Ferrufino passed away in a tragic boating accident leaving his wife, Ana, and son, Alex, behind. Alex has autism and has been in the Autism Program at Meadow Hall Elementary in Rockville Maryland since Kindergarten. This campaign will raise money to support Alex's family through this extremely difficult time.
The Ferrufino's have always been one of the most supportive families... Attending every school/community event, donating supplies for our classrooms, showering all of his teachers (former teachers too) with gifts for any given occasion. Alex's parents never missed an IEP meeting and were truly a team in supporting their son. Alex is a sweet, kind, and an affectionate boy who loved his father very much. He is having a very difficult time understanding the situation and has been asking for his dad. This was an inseparable family so this sudden loss will undoubtedly change their lives forever.
This is a family who really needs community support right now. Any donations would be GREATLY appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to Mrs. Ferrufino. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Meadow Hall Autism Team
