Ferris Buller's Vet Bill

About five months ago we were lucky enough to move into our first home! We didn't know at the time but this house had a very special bonus that came with it; the cat the previous owners left behind. We never would have thought about getting another cat, but after lots of head scratches and purs he quickly won our hearts. We dubbed him Buller (his attendance record is flawless) and we've been best friends ever since. We were very anxious to get Buller to a vet to see exactly what we are dealing with. We had no prior history on him, how old he is, if he'd ever had his shots. Today we were able to finally get him checked out and we are so grateful that his blood work was clean and he was free from any viruses, however he does have an infection in his teeth. This infection has been making it painful for him to eat his food and could cause other health issues. In a few weeks we will be making an appointment and he will likely need most if not all of his teeth removed to prevent infection from spreading and stop the pain he's experiencing. We have an estimate of $1,600 to $2,000 and while this is not an expense we were prepared for, we know it is necessary for our poor little guys health. I believe Buller chose us as his people. He knows we will give him the best life filled with love so he can live his most healthy life. I like to think Buller wasn't left behind, he has just been waiting for us. We would be so grateful for any contributions towards the cost of his vet bill, anything helps ❤️
