Ferrier Zach Thompson

Hi, my name is Kayla and I'm fundraising for my Ferrier, Zach Thompson. He has been my Ferrier for several years and many locals use him too.

Zach was out for a regular routine trim. One of the horses was hobbling on his feet trying to find a good footing. Quite frankly, there isn't an epic story behind this, other than Zach stepped wrong and fell on his knee. Thankfully, my neighbor who is a nurse was over and assessed the situation. Zach's wife picked him up and brought him in to get checked. A little messed up and few broken bones. He reassured me not to feel bad and that this can happen any time with his job and eventually every Ferrier gets it, but they do plan for it. Special thank you to another local Ferrier, Dawn who helped cover Zach and brought his work truck home.

I prayed for a speedy recover and asked "what can I do?"
