When I first met Fernie last week day after Thanksgiving, he said hi to me with the big smile on his face. It was cuties ever!  Then I went for hike with his parent and some friends and that day when i found out that Fernie has leukermia. When I heard that, I was heart broken because his only 3 years old and how bad leukemia is. What is leukemia? Leukemia is a disorder involving blood cells. Healthy cells form in the bone marrow and mature into red blood cells (to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the body’s tissues), white blood cells (to fight infections) and platelets (to stop bleeding).

In patients with leukemia, these cells do not mature as they should or they transform into irregular blood cells that do not function normally. As abnormal cells build up in the bone marrow and bloodstream, the patient may experience anemia, susceptibility to infections and bleeding that does not clot due to the lack of functional red blood cells, white blood cells and/or platelets.

So, I want to do something for Fernie and his family, Fernie is going to Hospital on Thursday 12/01/2016 to start the procedure and what I heard that his having bone marrow surgery and his going to be at hospital for at least 3 months or so. The money will go to medical expenses, foods, and some gifts for christmas. If you feel led to give please give but most important is pray for him and his family. Lets come together and make this holiday special for him and his family. thank you
