The Ferndale High School Marching Band continues to be a source of pride for our school and community, providing students with exceptional musical education, leadership opportunities, and lifelong memories. Our talented musicians work tirelessly throughout the year, representing Ferndale with distinction at competitions, parades, and community events.

While our participating families generously contribute through program fees to support their students' involvement, the full cost of maintaining a competitive marching band program extends far beyond what families can bear. Your support helps bridge this gap and ensures every student can participate in this life changing experience.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference

$25 - Purchases supplies like field paint, paracord, and batteries for bodypacks

$50 - Purchases guard flags, drum sticks, mallets, marching and guard shoes, and sound system cables

$100 - Purchases guard costumes, and supports alterations and replacements of band uniforms

$250 - Purchases sets of drum heads, cymbals, sound system components, or pays for permission to arrange for one piece of music, or supports payment of instructional staff

$500 - Supports purchase of props and small instruments, or cost of soccer dome rental before State Finals, or supports payment of music and visual design fees

$1,000+ - Helps fund major equipment needs like new instruments or sound equipment, or significantly defrays the cost of camp at Interlochen Center for the Arts

Our Promise to You

Every dollar donated goes directly to program expenses. We maintain complete transparency in our finances and will provide updates on how your contributions are used throughout the year. Donors will receive recognition on our communication channels (unless you prefer to remain anonymous) and periodic updates on the band's achievements.
