Poor Sweet Silly Fernando likes to eat things he really shouldn't and this time it really didn't go well. 


Nerny got himself into trouble and he had to have emergency surgery because he ate something plastic and the pieces got lodged in his stomach. During emergency surgery there were complications and he had to have 15 inches of his intestines removed. 

My parents and I are trying our best to cover the cost of the surgery and his extended hospital stay however we are reaching a point where we really need help. 

Nerny has had additional complications after surgery including aspirated pneumonia and an infected wound, which are making him unable to come home which is going to take more funding to supplement.  


He is only two years old and we love him with all of our hearts. We don't want him to be taken from us so young just because we don't have enough money for his after care right this minute.

He is getting better slowly but in order to maintain the level of care he needs we are asking for any and all help funding his post surgery recovery. 


The hospital stay is $1200 per day and we need to be able to keep him in the hospital until he is able to eat and drink normally and not vomit. After care will become an additional cost as he will need expensive follow ups to confirm his intestines are healing and pneumonia is gone. 

Any thing helps. Please help us keep Nerny with us. We don't want to loose him. Our home wouldn't be the same without him.


He helped me through some of the hardest times of my life and owe him my life. So the least I could do is save his.
