Fernando Rubalcava Aguilar Memorial Fund

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Fernando Rubalcava-Aguilar on Thursday, April 23, 2020 but with great joy to know that he went home to be with the Lord from a sudden heart failure. Fernando was born in Mexico City in 1962 and at a young age he and his family came to the United States where they settled in San Diego California.

Fernando had the blessings of starting a new chapter in life where he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined a Church where he was a dedicated member and help in the Technical Support area, using his talents as a Computer Repair/Network Installation & Support. Fernando received his Certificate of Competency at the Southwestern Community College in December 19, 1998.

Fernando was united in holy matrimony to Carmen Mendivil in 2003. This union was a blessing to both, enjoying traveling and spending time together with family and friends. Fernando and Carmen is active member at Calvary San Diego and are known for their unconditional help and love in helping others. Fernando was beloved by all and his beautiful life will be forever cherished and deeply missed by family, friends, church community, his beloved wife and his two fur babies Maui and ka’nnapali.

Fernando worked for many years in Cox Cable becoming a great asset to the company but unfortunately loss his job but had the blessing of the Lord opening a new door at Dexcom. Fernando was able to see Gods love in his new job position where he received many blessings like Health Insurance not knowing what was to come “Declining of his health” but we know that God has all in control.

Fernando passed away after a long battle with Diabetes complications, directing his illness to dialysis. His illness made it difficult for him to continue working over a year and created a financial hardship for him and his wife. Fernando was the main financial provider and his passing was completely unexpected leaving his widow in a difficult financial situation. Carmen is a strong believer in Christ Jesus and knows that the Lord “Will never leave her or forsake her”. Carmen’s talent in Pet Grooming will be able to cover some of her finances.

God’s faithfulness to Carmen has brought church community, family, friends and grooming clients in unity with their loving prayers, condolences and contributions.                                                                               “Just as a body, though one, has many parts from one body, so it is with Christ “1 Corinthians 12:12

Many have offered love, comfort and condolence to Carmen but many would like to show their generosity in giving her monetary support and for that reason creating a fund in Loving Memory of Fernando Rubalcava-Aguilar will help with funeral expenses and most financial debt leaving her in a comfortable position. But most important we would like to continue to ask for your loving prayers and comfort at this time of loss for Carmen and Family.
