Fernando Morales Memorial Fund

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
 
As you may know by now, ICAP lost one of its brightest stars on May 5th. Dr. Fernando Morales, our Country Director in Tanzania, died suddenly and we are all bereft at his passing.
 
Fernando was a remarkable man who dedicated his life and career to improving the lives of others. A brilliant, compassionate health care professional, he designed and implemented innovative programs that pushed the envelope to get HIV prevention, treatment, and care to those who need it most.
 
As well as being an exemplary global health leader, Fernando was also a dedicated husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, Crimelda, and his two young children, Juliana and Ariel. 
 
We are doing all we can to support Fernando’s wonderful family in the wake of his tragic passing.  Today, we invite you to contribute to the fund we have set up to support them. No amount is too small. All will be appreciated by his family.

Fernando was the kind of man who was always ready and willing to help those in need—without hesitation. Today, we are inspired by his generous spirit to be there for his family. We hope you will join us.
