Fernando Miranda Banda

Hello:

I am Jasmine Root, a teacher at Fremont Elementary School in Salinas, CA. On 10/4/2023 a beloved father at our school, Fernando Miranda Banda, was hit and killed by a drunk driver while crossing the street. Mr. Miranda leaves behind his wife and 4 children that attend Alisal High, El Sausal Middle, and Fremont Elementary with their oldest already having graduated from Alisal High. Mr. Miranda was a hard worker who supported his family. His children are devastated to have lost their father at such tender ages. This family needs as much support as they can get as they navigate this difficult time.

El 4/10/2023, un querido padre de nuestra escuela, Fernando Miranda Banda, fue atropellado y asesinado por un conductor ebrio mientras cruzaba la calle. El Sr. Miranda deja atrás a su esposa y sus 4 hijos que asisten a Alisal High, El Sausal Middle y Fremont Elementary y el mayor ya se graduó de Alisal High. El Sr. Miranda era un gran trabajador que mantenía a su familia. Sus hijos están devastados por haber perdido a su padre a una edad tan tierna. Esta familia necesita todo el apoyo posible mientras atraviesa este momento difícil.
