Help Gateway High Students Explore Oakland!

Hi y’all!

Wanna help some of San Francisco’s coolest and brightest? Help us recover from a grant application fall out.

My AP Spanish Language & Culture students at Gateway High School are going on a field trip to Oakland to interview activists, small business owners, street food vendors, and more… IN SPANISH.

They’ll be creating podcasts celebrating the cultural wealth of their communities in SF as well as in East Oakland using the interviews they conduct.

All money raised will go towards public transportation, food, and a kayaking experience in Lake Merritt.
