Fern's Cancer Relief

Fern is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/ Boxer mix who is currently battling Mast Cell tumor cancer. My partner and I adopted Fern two years ago and she has since become integral to our humble family. Her charisma and cherished companionship have proved to be unyielding. She completes our household indefinitely. With her goofy and lively personality we have been continuously thankful to have her as apart of our lives.

With that being said,  she received the diagnoses for Mast cell tumor cancer two months ago and we have since been to numerous Veterinarian's as an attempt to get this under control. The surgery is slated to occur within the next two weeks and we are at grips with how to fathomably finance such an expense but also understand the urgency. The Mast/cancer cells, a total of two, have not spread beyond the tumors yet and if the surgery is carried out within the next two weeks to a month we are potentially looking at a full recovery.

The difficulty of the operation is within the location of the one tumor being on her rear left leg around the muscle tissue. However, she is currently prescribed prednisone which has shrunk the tumor to a considerable/manageable size. Meaning, the likelihood of the tumor being successfully removed with good margins is now much higher. We've taken out a loan to account for the adequate tests required to perform the surgery but are now faced with how we can go forward and ensure a long-lasting healthy life for a such a lovable, dear companion.  

During these uncertain times we understand the immense financial pressure on many people, including ourselves. Nonetheless, this unfortunate situation allows us no other option but to seek aid. Any contribution towards  this ordeal would be graciously and completely appreciated and would entail our upmost gratitude as well as a secured future for an all around impeccable dog.
