Fergus OCB needs surgery

Hi Folks! This is my little buddy Fergus who I adopted in October 2020. He is a super joy, a well of unconditional love, and my sidekick as we explore all sorts of special places in Maine. But Fergus is awaiting surgery. On one of our nature adventures in December, Fergus tore his CCL (like our human ACL). This little guy has been such a good sport as I have curtailed his exercise while we wait for surgery later this month. Unfortunately the pet insurance plan that I have for Fergus decided that they will not cover ANY portion of his TPLO surgery. The procedure is estimated by our orthopedic surgeon to cost $3775. This is a huge “surprise” expense for this public school teacher, hence the ask. I fully appreciate that everyone is experiencing myriad challenges and stressors in this moment. If you are able to contribute to the fund for Fergus’ surgery, I am grateful. If you are not in that place, all wishes for a healthy recovery will be appreciated.
