We will be ordering boxed lunches from local 63026 restaurants and delivering them to the nurses at St. Clare. There are approximately 70 nurses on staff during a shift. The goal of $5000 will allow us to order meals from 10 local restaurants over several weeks and supply 700 meals to the nurses during their shifts. The House Supervisor at St. Clare said most importantly the nurses will know the community is thinking of them. If more funds are raised we will provide more meals.

How do we know where the money is going?
Receipts for the restaurants will be posted, as well as a statement from St. Clare. You will know exactly what day and time the meals will be delivered. Thank you for being skeptical. We know there are a lot of scammers out there trying to profit off of Covid-19.
Do you work at the hospital or a restaurant?
No, I don't have direct connections to either. My children went to Rockwood Summit and local restaurants have been very charitable to our athletic organizations. This is our chance to give back.
Are you working with hospitals other than St. Clare?
I work full time and can't take on another hospital or community. My hope is that the idea spreads and someone adopts St. Lukes and Chesterfield can support that. Barnes and South City can support that etc. I would be happy to help them.
