Hi, my name is Ines Simo, and it is with great joy that I’m announcing the launch of the 2025 Fenix Aurora Los Reyes Toy Drive. Five years ago, I was inspired to start this project as the holidays approached. Reflecting on my blessings and preparing gifts for my family, I was reminded of my own childhood in the Dominican Republic. Growing up with limited means, there were years when I didn’t experience the magic of toys waiting for me on the morning of January 6th, a cherished tradition in our culture.

Having been blessed in life, I wanted to give back and bring that same magic to children whose families are struggling to make ends meet. Many parents can barely afford the basics, let alone new toys for their little ones. I believe that every child deserves more than just survival—they deserve moments of joy, wonder, and the chance to dream. A new toy can spark a child’s imagination, reveal hidden dreams, and inspire hope for the future.

What began as a small project has grown each year, thanks to the support of our family-owned business, Fenix Aurora Inc, and our community. We partner with local organizations in the Dominican Republic to ensure toys reach the children who need them most. This year, we hope to make the biggest impact yet and bring smiles to even more children on Three Kings Day. Your support will help us continue this tradition of generosity and kindness.
