2008 Olympian, Abdoulaye Thiam, founded the Lion Academic Fencing Club  (LAFC) on December 2016 in Dakar, Senegal (West Africa).  His mission is to develop the sport of fencing (escrime) throughout the region of Africa, with the focus of introducing the sport to underprivileged children. 

We are currently looking to raise money for our annual Fencing Summer Youth Camp in Dakar. A small donation can go a long way and with  your support, will allow us to continue to run our fencing program sucessfully for our youth.

Donations will go towards:

- New  fencing Equipment
- Transportation
- Medical Expenses
- Hiring of Staff
- Breakfast and Lunch
- Books
- Technology Equipment
