Help Me Build a Front Yard Fence for My Emotional Support Dogs ❤️

Hi, my name is Missy Moon, and this is a really vulnerable ask for something that would genuinely change my life.

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) eight years ago, and I also live with Fibromyalgia. Both conditions cause chronic pain and fatigue, making even the most basic tasks incredibly difficult. One of the hardest daily challenges is walking my dogs—Jasper and Lucy, my emotional support animals who bring me comfort, companionship, and so much joy.

Putting on their leashes, opening the front door, and walking them has become overwhelming. I physically struggle to bend down or even grip things on difficult days. Typically, first thing in the morning when I wake up, the dogs need to go out, and I struggle to even pick up the leash and open the front door. My hands are so inflamed. What would help more than anything is having a safe, fenced-in front yard where I can just open the door and let them outside. It would ease my daily pain and stress and give Jasper and Lucy the freedom to safely play and get their energy out.

Before my diagnosis, I was very independent. I worked in restaurants, taught yoga, and raised three kids on my own. I was strong, self-sufficient, and capable. Asking for help now is incredibly hard for me—I’m still grieving the version of myself that could do everything without needing support. But the truth is, I just can’t afford the materials or labor to build this fence on my own. I live on disability income, and I’ve exhausted my options.

I have been trying to get the materials together on my own and get help from other people, which has just not worked out. I would love just to pay one person or a company to come in and do the whole job quickly and just get it done. I feel awful for my dogs, and at the time being, I have to keep them separate in the house, which is another stressor for me, adding more inflammation, stress, and pain.
