Femi's c-spine fracture accident
Donation protected
Hello, everyone as many of you might have heard our good friend and faithful servant of God, Femi Borisade has been in a horrific car accident. The truck flipped multiple times crushing the entire cab compartment like a pancake! The fact that he survived is but a testament of his faith in God. And now it falls to our faith in Femi and the faithful Doctors and Nurses that surround him to repair his weakened body to match his strong heart and soul.
Now, I could go into the details of his accident and his exact medical condition but I'd rather get right to the point: Femi needs our help! And as many of us who are his friends know he is always there for us so let's in turn be there for him; with our thoughts, with our prayers, and with a small donation from our wallets.
Of course we see these Gofundme's cross our page a few times a day, many times they're frivolous, sometimes they're not. But, I for one am always a little skeptical so I've tried to address any questions any of you might have so that it might allay your reservations.
1. Is he really in need? Yes, Femi had a closed cervical spinal fracture and is currently in a c-collar.
2. Can he work to provide for himself? As many of you know Femi is a personal trainer and his body is how he makes a portion of his income.
3. Can't insurance pay for his medical bills? Unfortunately, insurance only goes so far and with deductibles and ongoing care the bills add up quick.
4. Why the odd amount of $3,333? Well, as some of you might know 3 is a Holy number, the Holy Trinity: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. The 3 main Patriarchs of the Old Testament Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And well I thought if only 100 of his friends on Facebook could donate just $33 we could reach his goal in no time at all!
5. Is it safe? Donating through Gofundme is perfectly safe and easy to do. They do take a small fee for processing payments via debit and credit cards (usually 2.7%) but it's very minimal and ensures that 97% of our donations go right where they need to go!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for your consideration of helping out our friend. -Chad Jett
P.S. You can make your donation known so he can thank you or if you feel more comfortable you can make it anonymously.
