My name is Paulo, I was born in Brasil in 1977, grew up in an orphanage because my dad didn't want me and my mom wasn't able to take care of me. In 89 I was adopted by a wonderful family but never forgot about the family I had left behind. My living condition in the orphanage was terrible, I had 2 choices, 1. stay there and die at a young age, or 2. get adopted. I chose adoption in hopes that I'd get to see my family again, but it hasn't happened yet. I am not able to provide my own way because my disability makes it extremely difficult to hold a job due to transportation issues. I don’t believe in hand outs but am willing to do ANYTHING to see them again. I’ve reached out to family, friends, churches but what I realized is that if ppl don’t believe in you, they won’t necessarily care about your needs. So basically I’m at my breaking point and I’m looking for whatever you can give, even if you can hire me, I’ll work my butt off for an opportunity to be reunited with my family again. I have $1735 saved so far. My mom suffers from a heart condition and doctors are surprised she’s still here given their living conditions. That money will cover passport expenses airfare expenses and also will provide me with a person to come with me to help me with my daily needs, such as showering etc. not being able to be reconnected with her leaves me a little depressed and suicidal.
