Our fellow rescuer/transporter, Luanne Yancy, needs our support. Many of you know Luanne, who works selflessly to rescue dogs from our local shelters and transport them to various locations all over Southern California. Well, she's fallen on a bit of hard times lately and could greatly benefit from a helping hand. The property on which she was living in her fifth wheel for the last three years was recently sold, and she now has less than 30 days to vacate. The new location requires some grading and installation of power hookups, the costs of which Luanne is responsible for herself, in addition to the usual moving expenses.

On top of that, several of her beloved dogs, who are primarily seniors, are severely ailing and in need of medical care. The costs of vet appointments, treatment, meds, etc., are piling up. And of course, the timing couldn't be worse. Luanne's primary form of income is transport, and obviously that business has been drastically reduced as of late.

We realize these are tough times for many, and there are others are in need. Luanne hates asking for assistance, but she is always there and available when anyone else asks her for help. She's got a big heart; her entire life is all about supporting the animals. It's our turn to step up for her. Please donate what you can--every little bit helps. Thank you!
