Fellow AEMT, partner, and friend in need!

My name is Caitlyn Mews and I’m fundraising to help my partner Tonya Lutz in her time of need. Tonya has been in EMS for years and besides spending her career helping others, she is currently a huge provider for her mother while she’s going through chemo and radiation every day for 34 days straight (at least). Tonya has a heart of gold with a spirited tough guy personality but nevertheless ALWAYS puts her patients and her family first. Being her partner and a new EMT, I’ve learned so much from Tonya. At work we’ve tried to donate hours to cover for time off but unfortunately it’s not enough. She’s about to be on a 10 day stretch off work with no time to cover it. She’s like all of us and has bills, fuel costs driving over 3 hours to Indy for her mom, things that are going to add up. She gives so much to the community I’m really hoping we all can pull together and give something back to her so she doesn’t continue to struggle and potentially lose a roof over her head and vehicle to get to work. Anything helps.
