Felix's Farewell: A Family's Call for Help
Donation protected
Hello friends and family of Felix "El Jefe" Davila Jr. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this on behalf of my niece, Carmen, and nephew, Kenneth Davila, about the passing of their dad. We are looking for the help they will need to give their father a decent send off.
On May 14th, 2025, my brother woke up, had breakfast, felt tired, and decided to lay back down. We never imagined in our wildest dreams that it was going to be the last time he would open his eyes. Paramedics arrived to his home to find him unresponsive and he was immediately taken to the hospital. Upon arrival and after immediate testing was completed, we found out that he had a catastrophic brain aneurysm. He should have died at his home when it happened, but I believe God had a plan for my family to come together so that his daughter could make it to New York from Florida on time to spend his last hours of life with her by his side. Doctors gave him 24 to 48 hours to live. On May 15th, at 7:07pm, Felix took his last breath with his family by his side.
My brother was the most honorable man I knew. He would do anything for anyone at any time when he could. He worked hard his entire life to provide a good home for his family and even for friends that became family as well. I never imagined we would be creating a go fund me to make sure he is sent off in a memorable way.
If you can help, even the smallest amount can make a big difference! Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.
