Felix Serrano: Please help with his funeral
Donation protected
See that thumbs up? That, in a nutshell, was Felix Serrano: contractor, carpenter, electrician, plumber and all around magician with his hands. He was so proud of never saying no that he named his company "FSN" for "Felix Serrano: No Problem."
But it's that smile and the kindness behind it that touched the soul of all who knew him. And it is that smile that we will dearly miss, now that he is no longer with us.

A devastating stroke ended Felix's life April 9th, leaving a grieving family in Atlanta and Honduras, as well as a host of friends who will all find him irreplaceable.
No one Felix ever met or worked for ever considered him just a 'handyman.' No, within minutes he had charmed his way into your life with his thoughtful, caring ways, always going above and beyond, and oh, so very, very proud of his work.
Nothing pleased Felix more than helping his friends realize their dreams of home remodeling, and he was always there when we needed a quick repair. So many times, he would finish the job, smile and say: "No money needed -- I did that for you because you are family."

And he was part of our families. He was a dear friend who captured giggles from our kids, played with our pets, and quickly became a dear and trusted part of our lives for years.
And now that dear man needs our help. He wanted to be buried in Honduras, the home he planned to return to when he retired and realize his dream of a farm by the sea.
His family cannot afford the incredible expense of transporting his body during this terrible time -- that alone will be over $8,000 and doesn't include the expense of a funeral in his beloved Honduras.
We are asking for your help in making his wish to go home come true. Please contribute what you can, knowing that it is helping the family of an incredibly special person who will long be missed.
This fund will be administered by Felix's step-dad, Jerry Flynn, who Felix loved dearly.
To quote a long-time friend of Felix: "The world will not find a more trustworthy, talented, caring, funny, loving sweet soul than Felix. Rest in peace, my dear friend."
