Felix Langarica's Funeral

As many of you may know my father Felix was involved in a head on collision due to medical reasons. Following the accident CT scans and MRIs revealed my father suffered a major stroke on his right side of his brain and has been stroking ever since. He also suffered a cardiac arrest a week following his accident, and started dialysis. Currently my father is on a mechanical ventilator breathing for him and his organs are starting to shut down. The Doctors did all they could for him and as much as we want him alive it's not fair for him to keep suffering. My siblings and I had to make the hardest decision in our lives to switch his treatment to comfort care and let him rest. Everything & anything will be used towards my fathers funeral services. The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
Como muchos de ustedes saben mi padre Félix estuvo involucrado en una colisión frontal debido a razones médicas. Después del accidente las tomografías computarizadas y resonancias magnéticas revelo que mi padre sufrió un derrame cerebral de su lado derecho y ha estado teniendo mas derrames desde entonces. También sufrió un paro cardíaco una semana después de su accidente, y comenzó diálisis. Actualmente mi padre está en un ventilador mecánico que respira por él y sus órganos están empezando a no funsiona. Los médicos hicieron todo lo posible para él y aunque lo queremos vivo no es justo para él que siga sufriendo. Mis hermanos y yo tuvimos que tomar la decisión más difícil en nuestras vidas para cambiar su tratamiento a comodidad cuidado y dejarlo descansar. Todo se utilizará hacia mis padres servicios funerarios. Apreciamos cualquier ayuda y donaciones. Gracias y Dios te bendiga.

El Señor es mi pastor, nada me falta;
en verdes pastos me hace descansar.
Junto a tranquilas aguas me conduce; me infunde nuevas fuerzas.
Me guía por sendas de justicia por amor a su nombre. Aun si voy por valles tenebrosos, no temo peligro alguno porque tú estás a mi lado;
tu vara de pastor me reconforta.
Dispones ante mí un banquete
en presencia de mis enemigos.
Has ungido con perfume mi cabeza;
has llenado mi copa a rebosar.
La bondad y el amor me seguirán
todos los días de mi vida; y en la casa del habitaré para siempre.
