Ayuda (Help) Felix Delgado Macias

Hello, we are Jessica, Gabriela, and Félix, nieces and nephew of an incredible person named Félix Delgado Macias, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia of the ALL type during the week of September 4th. Our beloved uncle lives in our home country, Ecuador, specifically in Quito.

Ecuador's public healthcare system is alarmingly deficient and not entirely free. We need assistance with the expenses for medical tests, medications, and treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy to stop the cancer. Currently, the healthcare service is quite complicated, and even the patients themselves must endure long queues for basic needs like using the restroom or finding a place to rest in chairs while waiting for their turn, which can pose complications for all of them. In the unfortunate event that it may be needed, we also need help with funeral expenses, although we hope not to reach that outcome, but we must be prepared for any outcome.

First and foremost, we want to thank anyone who can help our dear uncle, a good man of 56 years who life has presented with another battle to fight and overcome.

Hola, somos Jessica, Gabriela y Félix, sobrinos de una persona increíble que se llama Félix Delgado Macias, que hace muy poco, semana del 4 septiembre, se le detecta leucemia del tipo LLA. Nuestro querido tío vive en nuestro país de origen, Ecuador, concretamente en Quito.

La sanidad publica de Ecuador es alarmantemente deficitaria y no totalmente gratuita, necesitamos ayuda para los gastos de los exámenes médicos, medicinas y tratamientos como radio y quimioterapia para parar el cáncer. Actualmente el servicio es bastante complicado, incluso los propios enfermos deben hacer largas colas para ir aseo o hasta descansar en sillas hasta que los atiendan, lo que puede implicar complicaciones para todos ellos. O en el terrible caso que pueda darse, ayudar con los gastos fúnebres que esperamos no llegar a ese fin, pero debemos estar preparados para cualquier desenlace.

Antes de nada queremos agradecer a quien pueda ayudar a mi querido tío, un hombre de bien de 56 años a quien la vida le ha puesto una batalla más para librar y salir airoso de ella.
