On July 15, 2025, what was supposed to be a well visit with his pediatrician turned into an emergency hospital admission.

During the last 4 months, Felipe had been dealing with a sudden change in appetite, constant vomiting, weight loss, and dizzy spells. In April, he was seen by a GI. After lab work came back normal, he had a biopsy to further look into what could be going on. The biopsy results came back normal, but the symptoms were still there.

Between mid-March and July 15th, he had lost over 20 lbs!

During his visit, we were informed that his heart rate was extremely low along with his blood pressure. He was immediately sent to Children's Hospital in Saint Paul.

He has been diagnosed with sinus bradycardia and will remain in the hospital until further notice.

We need your help and support

We have 4 other children and live an hour away from the hospital. Driving home every day and back, along with Felipe's medical expenses, is becoming difficult.
