This Go Fund Me is in support of Luis Felipe Compean who is 23 years old, with an extraordinary heart and dedication to others. Luis is not only a beloved son and brother , but also a recent College graduate, academic stem tutor, and valued coworker among many other things. He is the kind of person who steps in without hesitation, serves his community wholeheartedly, and inspires everyone he meets. to know Luis is to have a true friend.
Luis Compean was the victim of a devastating accident and has spent several weeks in and out of comas, in and out of the ICU, unable to breath on his own, battling a serious infection, a shunt, a cranioplasty surgery, and the inability to speak, eat, and move on his own. He is responding to his loved ones and receiving treatment in a Rehab Facility to regain his abilities— a true testament of his strength and will to fight.
Luis is someone incredibly special to all of us, and right now he needs our support more than ever.
He is currently receiving the care he needs as he begins what will be an extensive and life-changing recovery journey. He is re-learning how to build his life back up piece by piece — with determination and strength that inspires everyone around him.
His recovery will require an extreme amount of rehabilitation at the center where he is currently receiving treatment. And when the time comes for him to leave, he will continue his healing at home, surrounded by the love and support of his family — rebuilding every single day.
The medical bills and expenses — both current and future — are significant. From ongoing treatment costs to rehabilitation expenses and everything that comes with a recovery of this magnitude, the financial burden is real and growing.
Every dollar donated goes directly toward easing that burden so Luis and his family can focus on what matters most: his healing.
Please consider donating, and if you can't give financially, sharing this page means the world.
To everyone who's already donated, prayed, or shared his story
- thank you from the bottom of
our hearts.
