My name is Felipe Antileo Segovia, if you are reading this means that you probably know me, and were kind enough to at least check this site...now, before you leave, please take one minute to read this! :)) You could be really helping me out here!!! so please.....
I've been blessed with the opportunity to live twice in the U.S. The first time as a foreign exchange student, and the second one as a Full-time Missionary of the LDS Church. A total of 3 fantastic years, full of great memories and wonderful experiences. Since then, one of my goals/dreams has been to return to the States to meet with the awesome people I met there and pursue my studies. Since last year, when I got back from my mission it was clear to me I wanted to follow that path. I decided that in order to get myself started with a good education and a more promising future that I wanted to study in the U.S., namely BYUI or the LDSBC as a starting point.
I encountered some set backs with my family's fincancial problems, which have made it hard for me to raise enough money for school. Later on, my plans were to work full time in the summer doing summer sales in KC Missouri, and raise the money needed for my schooling. That would've knocked the problem out right away, but due to a problem with the work visa I wasn't able to get that opportunity.
So now, I find myself working two jobs, one of them being a teacher at the MTC here in Chile which has been a great blessing, but still, with all the expenses they wouldn't give me enough money to stay alive a whole school year!
What's Needed:
I'm not financially able to pay for all the expenses that an International Student has to pay for, so I'm seeking and asking for as much help as I can in any sort of way, which I, of course, would greatly appreciate!! I need to raise an amount close to $12,000, of which I'd be able to raise over $4,000 with my jobs. I've set the goal of raising $8,000, which would be spent in Tuition, Housing, Insurance, Plane Ticket, and other expenses such as english tests and application documents. This would cover two semesters. Then I'm planning on working there and being able to stand on my own feet the following years.
So, if you can and are willing to help me out with anything or know of someone, both individual or/an organization who could or would be willing to help in any possible way, please let me know! I'm willing to make any worthy deals with anyone too!! Such as mowing your lawn, doing any sort of service, giving you a big hug, kiss, handshake, etc.
Please do not feel obligated or compromised in any way if you can't!

Mi nombre es Felipe Antileo Segovia, si estan leyendo esto significa que probablemente me conocen, y fueron lo suficientemente amables para visitar este sitio...ahora, antes de que se vayan, por favor tómense un minuto para leer esto! :)) Podrían estar realmente ayudandome! Así que por favor...
He sido bendecido con la oportunidad de vivir dos veces en los Estados Unidos. La primera vez como un estudiante de intercambio, y la segunda como un misionero de tiempo completo de la Iglesia de Jesucristo SUD. Un total de 3 años fantásticos, llenos de grandes recuerdos y maravillosas experiencias. Desde entonces, una de mis metas/sueños ha sido volver a USA y reencontrarme con las personas que conocí ahí y continuar con mis estudios. Desde el año pasado, cuando volví de mi misión fue claro para mi que quería seguir ese camino. Decidí que para empezar con una buena educación y un futuro más promisorio, quería tomar la oportunidad de estudiar en USA, específicamente en BYUI o LDSBC como puntos de partida.
Mi familia ha tenído dificultades para ayudarme economicamente en este proyecto. Por mi parte, mis planes eran trabajar tiempo completo haciendo ventas puerta a puerta en el verano en KC, Mssouri, y juntar el dinero necesario para la Universidad. Eso habría resuelto el problema de una, pero por un problema con la visa de trabajo no pude tener esa oportunidad.
Así que ahora me encuentro trabajando en 2 trabajos, uno de ellos es el CCM de Chile que ha sido una gran bendición, pero aún así con todos los gastos, no me darían el dinero suficiente como para mantenerme vivo por todo un año de universidad!
Lo que se necesita:
No soy capaz de financiar los gastos que un Estudiante Internacional tiene que pagar, así que estoy buscando y pidiendo la mayor cantidad de ayuda posible, de cualquier tipo, que obviamente apreciaría grandemente!! Necesito juntar una cantidad cerca de 12.000 dolares, de los cuales sería capaz de juntar un poco más de 4000 con mis trabajos. Me puse la meta de juntar 8000, lo que sería usado en el Arancel de la Universidad, Alojamiento, Seguro, Pasajes, y otros gastos como pruebas de ingles y documentos de aplicación. Esto cubriría dos semestres. Estoy planeando trabajar en campus cuando llegue y ser capaz de mantenerme solo en los años siguientes.
Así que, si ustedes pueden o estan dispuestos a ayudarme con lo que sea o si conocen a alguien tanto individuo u organización quien podría o estaría dispuesto a ayudarme en cualquier forma posible, por favor háganmelo saber! Estoy dispuesto a hacer cualquier tipo de tratos honestos con cualquiera, como cortar el pasto, hacer cualquier tipo de servicio, darles un gran abrazo, beso, apretón de manos, etc.
Por favor no se sientan obligados si no pueden!
