Hi everyone,

As most of you know, our daughter Felicity has had multiple hospital stays after we began noticing unusual episodes that were recently confirmed to be seizures. She has been diagnosed with focal epilepsy.

We are incredibly grateful to have answers and a treatment plan in place. However, this has also brought unexpected challenges. Felicity is only two months old, and her neurologist has advised that she needs close monitoring as we work to stabilize her on medication. Because of this, I have had to take FMLA leave from work, which starting today is completely unpaid.

While he is working full-time, after child support deductions JonJons income alone is a bit under half our rent. Living on his income alone will not cover the remaining rent, our bills, utilities, groceries, or the medical expenses from her hospital stays.

We are doing everything we can to manage, but this has created a financial strain we weren’t prepared for.

Our goal of $5,000 will help cover our expenses during this time, including:

• ~$1,200 toward rent

• ~$1,500 for essential living expenses (groceries, utilities, gas, formula, diapers, and bills)

• ~$2,300 to help with medical expenses, medications, and unexpected costs
