SDR Shropshire rescues dogs from kill shelters in Romania. Today, 14th November 2024, Felicity Hope was found at a kill shelter in Codlea, in the most appalling condition. She is approximately 8 years old.

SDR Shropshire has made her case their Christmas Mission, to save her, rescue her, treat her, and fund her transport to Shropshire UK when she is well enough, with a view to eventually finding her a loving home where she can settle and be loved for the rest of her days.

Felicity Hope is leaving the kill shelter tomorrow, 15th November 2024 to go to a trusted foster home in Romania and on Monday 18th she has an appointment at a Vet Clinic for assessment and blood tests. All transport, good food and vet fees as well as foster fees are paid for by SDR funds. We will post more about Felicity Hope’s health once we have more information.

With your help and donations we will raise the necessary funds for her Christmas Mission rescue journey. It might be a long haul before she can travel to UK, but we must help her, she deserves a happy outcome after such an appalling time in Romania. We don’t know how long she’s been in the kill shelter but tomorrow is a day of happiness and hope, when she leaves that place, hence her name Felicity Hope.

We have set an initial £5,000 as our target but we don’t yet know actual vet fees as yet and it’s likely to be quite a lot more and there will be her post surgery care too. We will keep you updated and we will change our target accordingly when we know details.
