Support for the Neros

Felicia Damon Nero is the wife of Mark L. Nero, and the mother of Markia, MaLeah, and MaKayla Nero. She was born and raised in Florence, SC; and she enjoys spending time with her family, close friends and most of all Jesus, who is the head of her life.

She has a passion for writing inspirational poetry as well as journaling and reading; she also loves exploring her curiosity for God’s creations through photography. She desires one day to publish her God inspired writings and poetry.

 As much as she loves all those things above her true love comes from serving God and His people.

Felicia and Mark need your help; in late July 2016, Felicia received a double lung transplant at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. The costs for any medical condition can be a strain on the families involved. Felicia and her family are asking you to help them with some of her medical expenses as she enters into this journey in her life. As you may know, the recovery time for this major procedure is long. This means finances have to always be available for traveling and lodging for her and Mark.

Mark has served in the Army Reserves for 24 years, and has worked at Honda of South Carolina for 18 years. He has completed two combat tours to Iraq and Kuwait so that we may continue to enjoy the freedom in our country today.  He is currently taking Family Medical Leave (leave with no pay) so that he can be in Cleveland with Felicia.  Although he is getting it at a reduced rate, the hotel he is staying in will still end up costing well over $9,000 for the next three months.  The estimate for meal costs alone for this time is at least $3,000 for just Mark.  In addition, any transportation between Cleveland and Florence can run $300 - $500 per trip per person.    Not to mention what expenses they have for their home upkeep in Florence, with no pay coming in...
