Felicia Ford, Disability Advocate & Single Mom needs help
Donation protected
This ask is particularly close to my heart. Not only is there a great need in our community, but it also directly affects someone I care about deeply - a dear friend, fellow disability advocate, and special needs mom who is in need of our support.
On January 7, 2025, Felicia Ford, a tireless advocate for the intellectually and developmentally disabled community, is a long-time devoted advocate for individuals with disabilities that has served families across Southern California spanning over 15 plus years, barely escaped a devastating fire with her children and pet. Felicia now urgently needs our support. After a terrifying ordeal, Felicia and her three children, 2 with special needs, lost their home and all their belongings. Despite her own devastating loss, and her own trauma, that she is likely still processing, her spirit remains resilient.
I urge you to join me in supporting Felicia during this challenging time. Her children, including Faith, require special care and equipment, such as adaptive leg braces, a customized stroller, and other vital medical devices. They will also need basic needs for daily living, and clothing.
Due to the overwhelming demand caused by the recent disaster, it may take months for Felicia to secure these essential items. Donations will be used for expenses not covered by any other sources of aid. Your help is crucial in ensuring Faith and her siblings receive the care they need.
Let's unite to provide Felicia and her family with financial assistance, uplifting messages, and heartfelt prayers. Your compassion and generosity will play a vital role in helping them heal.
