Daniel is my colleague and friend of 4 years. Daniel has been in Canada for almost 5 years, working in the same company a contract position until early 2018 when he was finally made permanent.
Finally in 2018 after securing a full time, permanent role, he was able to bring his family to Canada after a 5 year separation. His wife of almost 20 years, and his 3 beautiful children arrived in early September 2018
Within a few days of their arrival, his beautiful wife fell ill and was hospitalized. The prognosis was aggressive, stage 4 cancer.
Mrs. Feleke fought for the past two months but on Friday November 30th, she succumbed to her illness, leaving her loving husband and three beautiful kids behind.
We are hoping to gather financial support for Daniel to help offset the costs to lay her to rest and to support the repayment of all of the medical bills they incurred over her hospitalization and treatment that were not covered either by OHIP or Employer benefit.
