Hi, we are a group of educators who want to support our friend Felecia Williams for the 2023-2024 school year. For the past six years, Felecia Williams has been in a battle for her life and she is winning! Through numerous surgeries and ongoing chemotherapy, she has maintained a full-time life as a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher and dear friend. Felecia has been a dynamic teacher for 19 years. Despite not receiving a salary due to lack of sick leave, she reports to work every day except for cancer treatment days. God has placed in Felecia a warrior spirit that has beaten stage 4 colon cancer for 2,190 days of her life. Recently, she underwent a 16-hour surgery to remove all remnants of cancer in her body and a couple of organs ravished by chemotherapy. She is recovering at home and may not be able to return to her career as a high school science teacher.

As a teacher, Felecia has engaged students by conducting interesting experiments, phenomenal field trips, and wowing students with real-life unconventional stories of how science affects our lives. Help us give back to our once-in-a-lifetime warrior and teacher- Felecia!
