Hi! We’re the staff of Comfort Vision and The Optik Vision Center and we love our long-time coworker and friend, Felecia Freeman! Felecia has been with us for 10 years, sharing her wisdom and joy as we’ve grown our small business from the ground up. Throughout the years, Felecia has given her time and energy to help us thrive.
For all that Felecia has done for us, we would like your help in extending that same warmth and kindness back to her. In the last year, Felecia has experienced heartbreaking hardship: the loss of her partner in Fall 2019, her son in Winter of 2020, her mother in Fall of 2020, and her best friend in early 2021. These losses have taken a toll on her mental and physical health, impacting her ability to cope day-to-day. Felecia has struggled to seek support and community during this already difficult and isolating time of COVID-19. On top of all this, Felecia has inherited debt from medical bills and funeral costs that have made a difficult situation even worse.
We have put together this GoFundMe to help relieve Felecia of some of her debt, allowing her to take the time she needs to rest, recover and seek support. Felecia is a beloved member of our work family and we are grateful for your help in showing her how much we care.
