Hi my name is Gabby Ursuy, I have been Playing softball Since I was 5 years old.  I am a sophmore  on the Varsity softball team as a pitcher at Eisenhower High school in Rialto Ca., It has always been my dream to represent my country and play in the Summer Olympics.  Well, as we all know Womens Softball has been removed from the Summer Olympics and my dreams were shattered. I could not believe it when I was offered by Team America to go play softball in Italy and to represent the United States, What an awesome opportunity for me to be able to proudly wear the USA jersey. 

I have an opportunity to be an ambassador for my school, community, and our great country. America’s Softball Team is dedicated to competition and experience that will strengthen my athletic ambitions, and open my eyes to new people and cultures. Playing softball in ITALY will make a positive impact on my life and my teammate’s lives. Although this is a great opportunity, it is also an expensive one. The registration cost is due by mid- March. Any donations will help me greatlyTo participate in this event and maintain compliance with NCAA and NAIA eligibility requirements, I must raise my portion of the travel expenses incurred by my team.
