A friend of mine is facing an incredibly painful situation. His mother lives in Afghanistan and recently suffered a serious fall that caused a severe arm fracture. Doctors have warned that without urgent surgery, she is at risk of permanently losing the use of her hand.

Due to extreme poverty and limited access to healthcare in Afghanistan, the family cannot afford the cost of surgery and medical treatment. She is currently in pain, and every delay increases the risk of permanent damage.
