My sweet friend, Feile (pronounced “File”) and his emotional support animal (ESA) unexpectedly lost their housing on Christmas Eve. Feile is an artist and caregiver of both animals of humans. He has little family, none in the area that can help. He has exhausted his savings from two recent surgeries. He had surgery in 2018 that knocked him off his feet and had just begun to recoup and rebuild his life when he had to have sinus surgery this month. Feile was still off work and recovering when he lost his housing. He had just begun the process of submitting job applications looking for new employment.
Feile is with his ESA, Norbu Bodhi, and trying to survive the snowstorms of Denver while he figures out a more long-term solution. He has spent what money he had on motel room fees and replacing his necessities. Feile is not sleeping from stress and for fear of missing a phone call or email or a chance to reach out to a person or agency. He has medical and administrative appointments coming up that he needs to keep, and he has been ill on top of recovering from surgery. Feile needs to stay somewhere safe and stable, with access to communication, and out of the snowstorms so that he can continue to reach out and find a solution to his situation.
Feile is one of the kindest, most caring, open hearted people I know, generous both in body and spirit. He would give away his own heart to help another and now he needs our help. His motel room costs $97 for a night while he is working on getting somewhere more stable. He needs food, toiletries, and supplies; he has very little with him.
Feile is able to accept electronic fund transfer payments as well through a money transfer app, saving time, and time is of the essence. His associated email is FeileCaseArt at gmail.com (or contact me for his phone number) if you choose to help that way.
Feile also needs assistance from someone in the Denver area who can take him and Norbu to appointments and to pick up necessities. Feile’s ID is expired and he is having trouble accessing services without current identification. He is in need of a local friend who can take him to renew his ID card and let him use their mailing address to receive his new ID card in the mail.
Anything you can do to help is appreciated. If you can spare a donation, every dollar helps. Sharing this post where it is welcome helps. Please repost where, when and as often as you can in groups, on social media, and with friends. Please like and comment. Time is of the essence and every minute counts. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for opening your heart to Feile and Norbu. Blessings to you.
