SUPPORT ROSE LANE WORKERS FIRED FOR UNIONIZING

On Monday, on August 25, Park Lane Hotel, located on "Billionaires' Row" in Manhattan and owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, fired ALL 21 of the workers of the Rose Lane bar and restaurant who last week announced their intention to unionize with Restaurant Workers Union, Local 1 (RWU) and filed a recognition petition with the NLRB.

In response to the workers' demands for basic dignity, such as consistent scheduling and break times, Park Lane management has responded with an outrageous and illegal attack on the labor rights of the Rose Lane workers and of every worker who is in a union or wants to be in one.

These workers are now without a job. While RWU hopes and expects to get a federal court order reinstating the workers and recognizing the union, this will take time. In the meanwhile, the workers need financial support.

Please contribute what you can to help these brave workers!
