We recently acquired a Frenchie named Fefe, and she kind of fell into our lap. A local "breeder" posted on Facebook that she was desperate to find a home for their last puppy. I knew she had health issues just based on her appearance and breathing, but she was also very inexpensive so that further confirmed my theory. My husband and I want to provide her with a loving home from the lonely kennel she came from, with as much comfort as possible.
She was diagnosed with malformation of her spinal vertebrae, scoliosis (curving side to side) and kyphosis (curving up and down). As she ages, she will likely suffer from IVDD and may lose function of her back legs. She is also undergoing elongated soft palate resection surgery so that she can breathe and have an open airway. With all of these procedures, you can imagine that her cost has significantly and drastically gone up.
I recognize that there's no shortage of hard times for everyone, so anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for reading this and for any help you can provide.
